About

Culturally Compassionate

Dr. Geneva (she/they) is an experienced Latinx (Mexican-American/Xicanx/Mestiza) licensed clinical psychologist in practice since 2005. I identify as a woman of color and provide affirmative, empowerment-based, relational, depth-oriented (psychodynamic) therapy to adults. I also provide clinical consultations, supervision, and therapy for other mental health professionals. I specialize in working with BIPOC (Black/Indigenous/People of Color), LGBTQIA+ and gender expansive clients. Areas of focus for treatment vary but often center around traumatic experiences, body positivity, identity-related concerns and spirituality (including difficulties with belief systems). Sex positive. Poly, kink and fat friendly. If you are interested in learning more, please schedule a free 15-minute consultation to determine if we are a good fit to work together. ***Please note that I am OUT OF NETWORK with all health insurance companies.
